Wednesday Morning announcements  5/2/18

Good morning, Andrada and Happy Wednesday!

The AACC will meet Wednesday and Friday at lunch.

Attention Sophomores and Juniors!  We are going to offer an AP Biology class next year!  If you think this would be a good fit for you, and would like to sign up to take this course next year, please stop by the College and Career Center to let your counselor know!

The Art Club will meet this Thursday at lunch.

The Spectrum Club will meet Wednesday at lunch in Ms. Allen’s room.

This is the last week to check out books. All library books will be due back by this Friday, May 4th. Seniors, you MUST return books or pay for them before May 15th in order to have your transcripts released!

Please join Mrs Shroder, Mr Friggle and Ms. Allen for our Last Informational Meeting for Italy and Switzerland.  The meeting will be May 10th at the Vail Innovation Center. There are 40 of your peers going on this trip, so don’t miss this awesome opportunity! Come See Mrs Shroder if you have any questions.

Hey Freshmen! Your Link Crew wants to share one more event with you before you become sophomores! This Friday, May 4th, is a half day so during 6th and 7th periods we will have a friendly basketball tourney and ice cream. If you would like to one last farewell with your Link Crew stop by and see Mrs. Shroder or Mrs. Webber-Graff to purchase your tickets. Tickets are only $2.

To all next year’s Juniors and Seniors:

Because we were out of school for a few days, the Link Crew application deadline is May 4th!  Please come by and see Mrs Shroder for your application. Don’t delay, there are only a couple of spots open and we’re looking for the best of the best!

It’s that time of year again. It’s Time for Attendance Appeals. If you missed more than 12 days in any one class and do not have a 504 Plan or an IEP, you will need to appeal your absences.  You can sign up to appeal your absences with Ms. Mackenzie in the College & Career Center starting today. Senior appeals will take place on next Monday, May 7th, and underclassmen may appeal on Tuesday, May 8th and Wednesday, May 9th. If you have questions, please see your Academic Advisor.

That’s it for now. Have wonderful Wednesday, Mavericks!
