Good morning, Andrada and Happy Monday!  Seniors, you only have one more week of high school and 6 days until graduation!

 

We have a VERY important announcement: Yearbooks will be available TODAY at lunch! If you have any questions, see Ms Allen

All Sign Language classes will meet in the Library until further notice. Please come straight to the library.

 

Seniors, when you are done with your last final or no longer need your laptop for school, please turn your chrome book into the tech desk. Thank you!

 

Attention staff & students! All books are now overdue! Slips will continue to be sent out to students with overdue books today. Please turn your books and earbuds in as soon as possible or you will have to pay for them before you leave for summer break! Thank you to all of you who have returned your items. Seniors, you must return or pay for your books by TOMORROW, May 15th in order to have your transcripts released. Alexis Brown and Joseph DeBoer, please return your books. Thank you!

 

The AACC will meet TODAY and Wednesday at lunch.

 

The Spectrum Club will meet Wednesday at lunch in Ms. Allen’s room.

 

The Art Club will meet Thursday at lunch.

 

Attention Sophomores and Juniors!  We are going to offer an AP Biology class next year!  If you think this would be a good fit for you, and would like to sign up to take this course next year, please stop by the College and Career Center to let your counselor know!

 

Another successful spring sports season in the books.  When you factor in the success from the Fall and Winter, this was our most successful year EVER!

 

Out of 13 sports programs – 9 qualified for postseason play!

 

Baseball is still going on!  Our boys square off against Sabino tomorrow night at Amphi in the semifinals beginning at 6:30pm.  Get it!

 

Golf – William Vickery finished 16th out of 125 golfers in the D3 State Golf Tournament and second in our section.

 

Softball – made it to the semifinals

 

Track and Field –

Girls’ 4×400 – 2nd (Hailey Dills, Katie Yelifari, Leisey Trevillyan, Jackie Candito)

    Girls’ 4×100 – 3rd (Alexia Grant, Kyrstein Forkl-Hall, Leisey Trevillyan, Jackie Candito)

    Alyssa Perrini (VDLP) – 3rd in discus

    Katie Yelifari – 3rd in the triple jump

    Gabe Martin – 3rd in the triple jump

    Jalen Smith – 2nd in the long jump

 

     12 school records shattered!
